U.S. and China Educators Visit Japan to Share Best Practice of Environmental Education
The Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) exchange tour to Nishinomaya, Japan, took place in March 2009. The tour enabled representatives from each country to develop a common understanding of ESD and how to implement school-based programs at a community level. Moreover, a learning community to share ESD best practices and resources was established as a result of the tour.
