Chuanrong Wang

Ms. Chuanrong Wang is ISC's Guangzhou Office Director and the Guangdong Low Carbon Program Manager, responsible for the administration, coordination and development of ISC's Guangzhou Office, and for the implementation of ISC's Programs to increase energy efficiency and reduce GHG emission in cities and communities in Guangdong Province.
 
Ms. Wang has a comprehensive knowledge of the energy, environment and sustainability fields. Prior to joining ISC in 2011, she worked at the EU-China Clean Energy Center, at the UNEP/UNESCAP Regional Helpdesk on Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) in Asia and the Pacific, and at the UNEP/Wuppertal Institute Collaborating Center on SCP in Germany. She also worked as expert on waste management policies and transboundary waste-resource management at TRIDUX in France, and on the utilization of organic waste at the Institute for Applied Material Flow Management in Germany. Prior to that, Ms. Wang had 15 years working experience in Chinese local government as a senior engineer, primarily working on technology management, project evaluation and audit, technology transfer, contract assessment as well as on a national priority manufacturing technologies program.
 

Ms. Wang has a BSc in Chemistry from Sichuan Normal University (China) and a MSc in International Material Flow Management from University of Applied Sciences Trier (Germany).
